The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals will not certify a dog until it is 1 year of age. All Fayeland breeding Mi-Kis are certified for Heart and Patella Luxation before they are bred. All Fayeland puppies have their eyes, heart and patellas checked by a veterinarian before they are sold.
